Important: This is a simulation service for entertainment and educational purposes only.
User Accounts & Registration
To use our service, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Acceptable Use

• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to manipulate the service

Data Loss & Service Interruptions
We cannot restore lost plant data or simulation progress. If you lose access to your account, experience technical issues, or if our service is temporarily unavailable, we cannot recover your virtual plants or restore the time you've invested in watching them grow.
This includes but is not limited to:
• Lost plant growth progress
• Deleted accounts or plant data
• Service outages or technical failures
• Data corruption or system errors
We are not responsible for any emotional distress, time investment, or virtual plant loss you may experience.
Educational & Entertainment Purpose
Grow-y is designed for entertainment and educational purposes. While we strive for scientific accuracy in plant growth simulation, this is not a substitute for real gardening or botanical education.
The "real-time" nature of our service means plants grow at realistic biological rates, which may take years for some species. This is intentional and part of the authentic experience.
Intellectual Property
The Grow-y service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by us and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any content you create within our service (such as plant names or garden layouts), but you grant us a license to use, store, and display this content as part of providing our service.
Service Availability & Modifications
We strive to maintain high service availability, but we do not guarantee that our service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may:
• Temporarily suspend service for maintenance
• Modify or discontinue features
• Update the service to improve functionality
• Experience technical difficulties beyond our control
We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance, but cannot guarantee advance notice for unplanned outages.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
• Loss of virtual plant data or progress
• Emotional distress from data loss
• Time investment in plant simulation
• Service interruptions or technical failures
• Any other damages arising from use of our service
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for our service in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our service.
Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately, and we may delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our service shall be resolved in the courts of Australia.
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issues before pursuing legal action.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of our service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you should discontinue using our service.
